Thamy & Dan eloped on the dreamiest Monday afternoon in Jamestown ✨
I met these two maybe three years ago at a shop small event for local businesses. When Thamy approached me last fall about photographing their wedding, and after meeting up and discussing details with them, I knew it would be incredible. Their love for travel so apparent, dreaming of all the Scotland vibes, eloping to a very important place to them in the Catskills Mtns. in NY.
Then came COVID. – “It would have been easy to put it off.” – But they decided to move forward. Plans were changed, and instead they decided to elope on the day they got engaged, June 1st, on the cliffs of Beavertail State Park.
Their day was so perfectly about them, as it should always be. No fuss, just love. They are the absolute sweetest to each other, and I feel so honored they had me along to capture and celebrate their love for each other.
The world might be upside down right now, but don’t forget that love is not cancelled. We all need some good news and happy moments to provide a space of light in such dark times. Cheers to you T & D, to a love that is true and one that will not falter
