Megan & Jake, where to begin. Married on Halloween alongside their closest family and friends, in a beautiful tree grove in Meg’s parents yard. Strung up with lights and fallen leaves covering the ground, complete with gorgeous florals from Robin Hollow Farm. From skulls in her hair to snakeskin boots, the weather clearing up after a freak snow storm the day before, and Jake’s epic mustache (of course), it was the perfect day. We were even able to have their first look and do their portraits at their original venue, Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol, RI.
To say I was looking forward to hanging out with these two again since their engagement session is an understatement. I have had the most fun getting to know them over the last year. I am so thankful and grateful for them and their families for making me feel so welcome and truly so much more than their photographer, giving me a seat at their table for dinner with family and friends.
So thank you M & J for taking on this wild ride of a year with me and sharing your kindness and love! I can’t wait to see where this life journey takes you two and couldn’t be happier walking away from this experience with two incredible people turned friends.
